Editorial and Publishing Unit
The publishing unit of the GeoSphere Austria publishes publications of the GeoSphere Austria, which are available in the webshop and bookstores. The publications are produced by the editor, who is the contact for authors.
Since 1850, geoscientific publications and maps have been published in the publishing unit of the GeoSphere Austria.
The spectrum ranges from journals to books to geological maps in various scales with explanatory notes. In addition there are popular science publications.

Currently the Geological Survey of Austria offers the possibility to publish in the following print media.
Jahrbuch der Geologischen Bundesanstalt

The "yearbook" is since 1850 the most important printing unit of the survey.

Abhandlungen der Geologischen Bundesanstalt

The "treatise" mainly contain monographs.
Archiv für Lagerstättenforschung der Geologischen Bundesanstalt
ISSN 0253-097X
The focus is on raw materials/mineral resources and hydrogeological topics.
Berichte der Geologischen Bundesanstalt
ISSN 1017-8880
The digital reports often appear to be related to conferences and meetings (abstracts, field guides).
